After reviewing “Gangs” we were privileged enough to get some great feedback and a great quote by Pete – “An alloy of Thin Lizzy-esque riffage and Van Halen duelling. Broken Britain never sounded so good”.

TVJ – So what’s in store for the boys in 2012?

2012 looks to be an exciting year for the boys as they get ready to play venues throughout London. The bands gigs have been described as having ‘aggression, humour, musical competence and foot-tap-ability’ almost as if you have been parachuted into an early Who gig. With a combination of hard work and raving reviews from the local circuit, the band are set to be playing some big venues (yet to be confirmed) in 2012.

Having played on the BBC Introducing stage at the “Rhythms of the World” festival in 2011 and numerous radio spots on BBC-Music-Introducing and BBC Three Counties Radio , the boys are certainly excited about the new year and what it has to bring.

The Vinyl Junkies set to record

The Vinyl Junkies are heading into the studio at the end of january to record a number of new songs. After a successful 2011; topped off by a great gig on new years eve. The band are rehearsing and are ready to record four new songs which will be available to listen here!

New Single “GANGS” Out Now

A new track is available to listen to on the player! The song “Gangs” was recorded in November 2011 and the creativity behind the track was inspired by the London riot’s that occurred late last year.
